Hillbilly Deluxe was formed early in 2007.

Existing members,Shane,(South Africa.drums), Ex Midnight Crossing. Steve,(England.bass),
Ex Good Ole Boyz,and Chris (France.experienced freelance and session musician),
contacted Ritchie ,(Scotland,Vocals),Ex Against The Grain,thru MySpace,who was looking for an all live band with the idea of playing the very latest country music, with some self written tunes,that we are currently working on,and a handfull of classic country songs,so that there is something to appeal to most country audiences,young or old.


  

 (SCOTLAND) Hi there, welcome to our page, im a 31 year old country singer from Central Scotland,right now i've just joined a new country band called "Hillbilly Deluxe" were a four piece band who play everything from toby keith,trace adkins etc to johnny cash and willie nelson,were currently writing our own stuff and with any luck hope to get it published,so if any big record company directors out there just drop us a line lol,cya,ritchie .

(ENGLAND) Ex Good Ole Boyz. Steve has been playing seriously for about 20 years,first on guitar,then onto bass about 15 years ago ,and has played in various blues/rock bands in and around Newcastle .Steve has been playing country for about 12 years or so,starting with Newcastle based "The Good Ole Boyz ",then after moving to live in Scotland.

(SOUTH AFRICA) I was born in South Africa 'many moons' ago i started my drumming career at the age of 9 years old, playing "Boere music" as they call it there. I then started in backing bands for all the top Country artists as well as a studio musician for EMI in S.A.  In the 90's I started Memphis Sound, where I did sound for top international artists. I came to Scotland in 1999 where I started Midnight Rebels, in 2007 we started HILLBILLY DE LUXE UK with a new singer called Ritchie Morton. I hope to meet all you lovely Country people some day.

(FRANCE) Experienced freelance,gigging and session musician. Chris has gained worldwide experience (Usa, Japan, Europe, Africa, Caribbean) as a session guitarist, composer,and arranger in all styles of music,from pop to jazz, electronic to latin ,classical to heavy metal and flamenco,...but particularly country.Chris has ended up settling down in Scotland.
