It is with regret that Hillbilly Deluxe have to announce the departure of vocalist Ritchie from the band.He has left to devote more time to his family,as his partner is expecting.Ritchie has been with the band for three years now,the band wish him every success and happiness in the future.

Hillbilly Deluxe is excited to announce an exciting new venture. Get set as they blow the country scene away combining forces with renowned country rock chick Nancy Lee. Nancy’s Hillbilly Deluxe promise to be the hottest UK band and already in high demand for the top billings.
Hillbilly Deluxe was formed early in 2007.

Existing members,Shane,(South Africa.drums), Ex Midnight Crossing. Steve,(England.bass),
Ex Good Ole Boyz,and Chris (France.experienced freelance and session musician),
contacted Ritchie ,(Scotland,Vocals),Ex Against The Grain,thru MySpace,who was looking for an all live band with the idea of playing the very latest country music. With great regret Ritchie left the band in 2010. The band now combining forces with renowned country rock chic Nancy Ann Lee.

Nancy Ann Lee
Already an accomplised performer in her own right and with over 15 yrs in the entertainment industry, Nancy Ann Lee has already performed at some of the top events in the country music circuit , including Skipton festival, Wolvestock festival, Towerfest 2009, 2010, Pickering festival, Copper Kettle festival, along with major holiday parks, hotels, clubs and theatres in and around the UK and Europe. with stunning costume changes for each spot ,vocals to match her country rock chick persona , whilst playing accoustic guitar and bags of energy, this is one show to liven up your country music night.

(SOUTH AFRICA) I was born in South Africa 'many moons' ago i started my drumming career at the age of 9 years old, playing "Boere music" as they call it there. I then started in backing bands for all the top Country artists as well as a studio musician for EMI in S.A.  In the 90's I started Memphis Sound, where I did sound for top international artists. I came to Scotland in 1999 where I started Midnight Rebels, in 2007 we started HILLBILLY DE LUXE UK with a new singer called Ritchie Morton. I hope to meet all you lovely Country people some day.

(ENGLAND) Ex Good Ole Boyz. Steve has been playing seriously for about 20 years,first on guitar,then onto bass about 15 years ago ,and has played in various blues/rock bands in and around Newcastle .Steve has been playing country for about 12 years or so,starting with Newcastle based "The Good Ole Boyz ",then after moving to live in Scotland.

(FRANCE) Experienced freelance,gigging and session musician. Chris has gained worldwide experience (Usa, Japan, Europe, Africa, Caribbean) as a session guitarist, composer,and arranger in all styles of music,from pop to jazz, electronic to latin ,classical to heavy metal and flamenco,...but particularly country.Chris has ended up settling down in Scotland.
